Christmas present for Yes very late, I know I'm sorry. But better late then never I guess.

I've been drawing a lot of Latvia and Russia lately. I usually do some sketches before I have to draw something, so I can get in the swing of the the characters, and I think it really shows on this one. The sketches I don't really like, but they did lead to two comics that I think are quite funny! XD

By the way, the thing that Latvia is eating is called 'blin' [link] and is a Russian pancake that is also the traditional food for lent. Except when it's not eaten during lent it is much better (since during lent Catholics can't have butter, milk, or eggs) But it is often eaten smeared in butter (yumm!!) or rolled up and filled with caviar or fruit or cheese or meat (also yumm!)
I would love to find a recipe, it sounds so delicious!
